If we placed tagaderm on your tattoo, keep this on for 3-5 days. If it falls off sooner, that’s okay. Be sure to wash immediately with an antibacterial soap after tagaderm removal.
Wash and apply lotion/serum twice per day for seven (7) days.
Always use an antibacterial soap and cool water for washing. After washing, pat dry with paper towel and apply a thing layer of aftercare lotion/balm. (CeraVe, Lubriderm, Aquaphor etc). You may apply lotion/balm 3 - 5 time throughout the day.
Avoid direct sun light to your treated area. Avoid heavy sweating, swimming (in any type of water), saunas, and hot tubs for seven (days) following your appointment. Avoid scratching or picking. Try to avoid tight clothing to your treated area.
Gently clean your piercing 2 times a day with an antibacterial after care soap/saline wash, front and back. Avoid harsh soaps or anything that stings.
This is your mantra! Touching or playing with your piercing will irritate it and slow healing. No need to twist, spin or move your piercing!
Skip the rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, or hydrogen peroxide. These can dry things out and actually prolong healing.
If you experience excessive redness, swelling, or pus, please contact us right away.
